The philosophy behind BTLG
A lot of my students ask for ‘General English with specific vocabulary and grammar for my job’. So I’ve listened to your requests. I’ve designed industry-specific English training courses, aimed to give you relevant English skills for your profession. BTLG currently offers English for IT and English for Flight Attendants. Courses for other industries are being developed.
A friendly and passionate-about-her-job teacher
My secret? I am a language student myself, so I know how it feels to be a student. I know how difficult it is to understand grammar, remember vocabulary, and all the other struggles involved in language learning.
A glimpse of my experience and qualifications
- Qualified English as a second language Teacher since January 2015. (Europass Teacher Academy)
- Qualified Flight Attendant (Meytaqui Flight Attendant Academy)
- Extensive experience in preparing students for Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS, Trinity) since 2016 and Cambridge Linguaskill AI exam since 2019.
- 6+ years of experience in teaching in-company Business English to lawyers, notaries, accountants, and estate agents.
- Former Graphic Designer (University of Central Lancashire). I currently implement my design skills in my lesson plan designs.
Languages I speak
Italian, Spanish, Greek. Oh, and English.
My passions, interests and hobbies
Besides languages, I have an avid interest in cooking. Inspired by my deep and everlasting love for Italian cuisine, my kitchen is full of Indian, Japanese, Thai, and Cantonese recipe books alongside an endless row of herbs, spices and condiments.
Moreover, as you can see from my picture, I’m an avid hiker, and have unconditional love for the rascal, four-legged furry creatures – dogs!
